I’ve worked in media sales for nearly 20 years, both nationally and internationally.  After a particularly unrewarding day at work, I realised that there is so much more to life than living out of a suitcase, being constantly stressed and staring at a computer screen or smart phone for the best part of 9 hours per day.

I yearned for a better balance between work and home life, plus I wanted to do something that made me truly happy, put a smile on my face plus made a difference to those I worked with.

As a real animal lover, I’m passionate about making sure we do the very best for the animals in our lives.  From providing loving homes, the best care, good food and warm beds to making sure they always look and feel the best they can.

Due to a fascination with all sorts of breeds I made the decision to become a dog groomer – imagine being surrounded by dogs all day…heaven!

I’m not the kind of person who does things in half measures (I’m an all or nothing kind of girl).  I decided that if I was going to do this, then I was going to do it right.  I trained to City & Guilds Diploma level under one of the best dog groomers and trainers in the business, passing my written and practical assessments with distinctions.  I can groom to breed standards or groom to owners personal requirements or preferences, I’ll always make sure my doggie and human customers go home happy.

Being ‘the best you can be’ is something that really matters to me.

I also hold Canine First Responder and Canine First Aid certificates meaning you can rest assured that your dog is in safe and caring hands with me.

I’ve recently attended a course learning about canine massage which I found very interesting – the mental and physical health benefits are extraordinary. I am currently looking into more advanced training in this area which would allow me to offer it as an additional service for your dog.

I am a real animal fanatic, I’ve had horses most of my life plus grew up surrounded by dogs –  Cairns, Westies, Staffies, Dobermans and Rottweilers I’ve had them all!
